EASTERN MARKET + ROYAL OAK ENGAGEMENT SESSION | TAYLOR + BORIS

Taylor is my best friend, so being able to take hers and Boris’ engagement photos was extra special to me. Their love is so infectious and they’re the type of people that are friends with everyone and can make even the most shy person in the world feel comfortable, which is how Taylor and I became friends haha.

We ventured to downtown Detroit to take their engagement photos during August and wow were we blessed with the perfect weather. The city is so full of life in the Summer, which made scouting photo locations so much fun! We began near Hart Plaza and then drove over to Eastern Market, just in time to capture the sun beginning to set.

These two were so much fun to work with and despite all of the funny faces that Boris gave me in between posing prompts, I had an over abundance of amazing photos of them to work with. It was honestly so hard to choose! I absolutely love taking photos in downtown Detroit. It’s one of the best places to get beautiful landscapes as well as historical buildings. I highly recommend it!
