GROSSE POINTE ACADEMY + CHERRY CREEK WEDDING | ANNA + TOMMY

Anna & Tommy’s story: “Tommy and I met five years ago through my cousin who was getting married. She had set the both of us up at her own wedding, and we’ve been together ever since! We got engaged on a trip to Chicago last July, it was a complete surprise and I had no idea. We went to dinner with the other couple that went with us, and after we all went to the north avenue beach and walked along the shore/path where we could see the whole city in our view! The other couple asked me to take their photo and Tommy was behind me on one knee until I turned around! Tommy hired a photographer, and captured the moment along with some engagement shots with the view behind us. Tommy had set up the whole thing with my cousin(maid of honor) who lived there. She came around the corner afterwards and surprised me, it was all so perfect!!!!! I truly think we are soulmates and we fit so good together, we both want a family one day and share the same goals in life when it comes to that topic. So naturally, we need to get married!!”

Tommy and Anna got married on a beautiful day in July! They got ready at their homes and then we traveled to the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel in Grosse Pointe for their ceremony. It was such a beautiful, traditional ceremony followed by portraits on the grounds - which were STUNNING. We then drove to their reception at Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township. They had a larger wedding with all of their friends and family. It was such a great day!
