THE SCARAB CLUB DETROIT, MI WEDDING | CAITLIN + RYAN

Caitlin and Ryan’s story:
”Ryan and I met online as most modern romances start. Our first date was getting ice cream and watching cars cruise on Woodward after a hike. We got engaged after dating for two years on the beach in South Haven at sunset. We live in Livonia and have a sleepy cat name Loki. I (Caitlin) work at Henry Ford Hospital in the integrative medicine dept doing acupuncture and oriental medicine. Ryan is an engineer working on the Motorsport team at an engineering firm. We both love our work and keep busy on the weekends at car festivals or playing pickleball. We are excited to get married and look forward to starting a family in the near future.”

They both got ready at the Fort Pontchartrain Hotel in the middle of July on a super hot day but it was SO beautiful out. These two were so chill and so happy to be married. I truly think Ryan was GLOWING; I have never seen a groom so happy and accommodating to everyone. We took some couple’s portraits outside and around the Detroit Institute of Arts and then they had their ceremony and reception at the historic Scarab Club. It was such a unique wedding so full of love.
